J'ai reçu ces photos d'un anglais qui a découpé de l'alu de 13mm avec une lame Pegas super skip #3
Son message:
"Thought you might like to see another experiment with No 3 Super Skip blades. I wanted to make a jig so that I could mount the blade in the blade clamps in perfect alignment. Proxxon scroll saws have one built into the table but alas Hegner only have single ended jig. Making the blade clamp fixing is an easy job if it is made by moulding it but to machine it is a bit of a problem. Scroll saws by their nature are good at cutting awkward shapes, so why not?. See Photographs. Then use a Swiss file to fit to size and smooth off sides. I only had 12.7 mm aluminium so I used that, cut and fitted the blade clamp holes, fitted a bottom plate and the milled between the holes to a thickness of 7.5 mm so the blade would align with the slots in the blade clamp.
So a No 3 Super Skip Blade will cut 12.7 mm (1/2”) aluminium."
